NFS share inactive after reboot

Hi All,

I've been having some issues with adding an NFS windows share to my hosts. I originally had no problem and was able to successfully add it to all my ESXi hosts.

We had a power outage at the weekend and since then it shows my share as being inactive on all hosts. I've searched frantically for a solution but can't find anything.

I tried removing the share from one of the hosts via vCenter but it refused, so I did it via cli using "esxcfg-nas -d <IP>" which was successful but I am unable to add it back in again.

I've used "esxcli storage nfs add" and "esxcfg-nas -a -o 10.x.x.x -s /Share NFSShare" to no avail. I've tried adding it through vCenter but get a message similar to the one in the log file below.

The vmkernel log file shows the following:

2013-12-10T13:15:22.218Z cpu15:69388)NFS: 190: NFS mount 10.x.x.x:/Share failed: The mount request was denied by the NFS server. Check that the export exists and that the client is permitted to mount it.

So I've checked that NFS client is running on my hosts and it is. I've check the nfs server firewall and it's off. I have root and anonymous access allowed on the nfs server.

It worked before and I didn't change any settings on either the NFS server or the ESXi hosts so it's very confusing.

I'm running ESXi 5.0 504890. I know it's missing updates but I am unable to upgrade at this time.

Any help or pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks.
