yeah i read the description before and this is my brief idea:
-- VADP is more for backup solution vendors. Backup solution can be OEMed by storage array vendors or they can develop their own backup solution
-- VASRM is used for array based replication, which is faster than vSphere replication (0 mins versus 15 mins)
-- VAMP is used when more features have to added to cover multipath functionality.
-- VAAI is used when we need to bring info regarding underlying storage arrays into vCenter. This will also help us to create storage profiles easily.
My question was related to plugins that allow to __manage__ storage arrays from vCenter. I was wondering wheether such plugins utilize VAAI only or any other APIs (not mentioned above). Do you have any idea?
