Hi Rahul,

 

  You need not to use any advanced option to move both VMDks (one local and other on SAN) to another SAN datastore.

 

Say, (From VI client: you host is in VC)

VM1 : VMDK1 on Local DS& VMDK2 on SANDS1::::You just right click on VM & click migrate, select to datastore option>>then select SANDS2.

Once the task is complete, you will see all your VM files are under single folder in SANDS2.


Advanced tab in VI client SVMOtion wizard is required if you want to migrate your VMDKs to 2 separate SAN datastore. Ref:Storage vMotion only one hard disk to another datastore in vSphere | ICT-Freak.nl

If you are using SDRS, then this can be achieved without using advanced tab
