Thanks for getting back to me. That is a great pointer, and I know how to find the LUN it is on and increase that. Once it is increased though, how do I go about increasing the size of the volume on the machine itself. Also, since there are like 7 other machines that are mapped to the same datastore/LUN, would increasing the size of the LUN affect the other machines also?
This is sort of what I imagine would happen in this scenario: For example, I have a LUN at 700GB, and I have 7 VMWare clients utilizing this LUN for a RDM. Each one of the clients has a volume on it pointing to this LUN and each one has 100GB volume that is pretty much filled up. Now I go and increase the LUN its on to a total of 800GB, that gives me 100GB to use now. Now I really want to use that 100GB for just one client out of the 7. Can I go into that one client and give it that 100GB to use? How could I do this?
