that should cover the what I am running :-)
Issue - The Storage numbers in VMware VCenter do not match the ones in HP Command View. I.E. Command View says I have 4 TB left and VMware shows 44 TB. A tad off and this morning all he77 broke lose when storage shut down.
Have been running the array luns in Thin Disk and the VM's in Thin Disk with IO Protection on in a DRS, only the ones in use by the cluster of course, and never got any warning because VMware noted the size/space was fine on the arrarys.
I have several VCenters using the same storage and all of them show the same size inconsistancy. I use mostly all VMDK on VMFS 5 with a few legacy VRDM / RDM's I am moving over.
Some think that the Thin Lun / Thin VMDK was the issue - thoughts?
Right now though I have no clues as there are no errors!!
thanks
Mike
