Re: SMB 2.1 and SMB 3.0

It most scenarios you will not see performance improvement between SMB 2.0 and 3.1, unless you are using:

• SMB Scale-Out 
• SMB Direct (SMB 3.0 over RDMA) 
• SMB Multichannel 
• Directory Leasing 
• BranchCache V2

So I guess you may try thinking about testing Multichannel, but it has quite specific requirements:
