3HDD in total, running esxi and vsphere 5.1
500GB Hard Disk 1 - , running the 3 VM's
3TB Red Nas Drive Hard Disk 2 - [Red1] New Virtual Machine/New Virtual Machine_1.vmdk (1.36TB)
Hard Disk 3 - [Red1] New Virtual Machine/New Virtual Machine_2.vmdk (1.36TB)
3TB Red Nas Drive Hard Disk 4 - [Red2] New Virtual Machine/New Virtual Machine_3.vmdk (1.36TB)
Hard Disk 5 - [Red2] New Virtual Machine/New Virtual Machine_4.vmdk (1.36TB)
I have installed a new VM, windows 8.1 and wish to add the 4 latter data stores to it. Problem is: Add Hardware/Add Hard Disk is not working.. There are no vmdk's inside the data stores. (see pic 2)
As you can plainly see in my 2012SER7ER VM, the vmdk's are all there (see pic 1)
Is there a way to recall the vmdks, they are still functional in both 2012SER7ER and Temp Windows 8 VM's, just cant add them to Windows 8.1 VM
The only solution i can think of is copying the vms..
