When adding the data store to the second host it wants to format the storage

I have two ESXi 5.5 hosts, one is the primary host which is currently running all of the VM's from this datastore. I would like to add the datastore to the other host, but the option to do so is greyed out on the new server, and it only wants to let me format the datastore.

Specifically:

Try the following command

#esxcfg-volume -l

This ought to show the volume

To persistently mount the volume, use esxcfg-volume -M followed by either the UUID or the name of the volume
