Expanding datastores after reallocated capacity in disk enclosure

Hello,

I have question about expanding datastores.

We have HP-EVA as hardware and in few weeks ago we bought some additional harddrives. In EVA are 3 virtual disks VIRTU1-3 which are mounted in VMware vSphere as 3 datastores VIRTU1-3. We want to reallocate capacity on this virtual disks, which is pretty easy step in StorageWorks Command View (VIRTU1 has 1 TB capacity, VIRTU2 has 1,5 TB and we want to reallocate it to 2 TB capacity).

And my question: is it problem for VMware vSphere (vCenter), if I change the capacity of mounted virtual disks? And eventualy if answer is no, which operations I must perform in vCenter to complete this task without losing data on datastores.

We have VMWare vCenter Server 5.0.0 Build 623373.

Thank you for your reply
