Hi everyone,
I'm stuck at this point, I tried all the previous advices and can't resolve this.
vCenter and ESXi hosts are update to the latest version.
Rebooted vCenter VM + SSO + Inventory, etc.
When I try to manual create a storage provider I had to use HTTPS instead of plain HTTP, else I can't open the page on a browser.
When I enter https://xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/version.xml using an account that I created or the root account I get a popup with:
"The "Register new storage provider" operation failed for the entity with the following error message.
Unable to verify the authenticity of the specified host."
Followed by a security alert, where it says:
"Unable to verify the authenticity of the specified host.
The SHA1 thumbprint of the certificate is:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Do you wish to proceed connecting anyway?
Choose "Yes" if you trust the host. The above information will be remembered until the host is removed from the inventory.
Choose "No" to abort connecting to the host at this time."
Choosing Yes displays:
"The "Register new storage provider" operation failed for the entity with the following error message.
The username or password supplied for registration are incorrect."
Thanks in advance!
