Hello,
I'm trying to setup a cluster between 2 hosts with HA on vSphere 5.5. I'm wondering if it is required that shared storage be used for all partitions or if it is possible to have some partitions on the shared datastore and have others locally. The motivation behind this is to have applications and their runtime files be managed on local disk but still be able to fail them over using HA. Is this sort of setup possible? If so, is it a good idea?
