I work for an EMC reseller and have deployed several VNXe arrays. The devices have been nice upgrades for many of our clients. There are a bunch of great documents you should check out should you decided to go that route:

Does a great job of going over different configuration options. I would also encourage you to inquire about the VNX as well just to get an idea of the difference in cost, you might be surprised that for a few bucks more, you can get a higher end array.
The one criticism I have of the VNXe having deployed several is the amount of time it takes to create a LUN, now I make this comparison to a VNX, and would say its about on par to another array such as a Dell MD3000i, but at the end of the day, its just slow. By slow I mean a few minutes, but compared to a VNX its a long time.
