esxi 4 hosts connected via nmp through Falconstor to Hitachi backend
2. Migration
esxi 5 boot from san hosts connected via powerpath to emc vmax
Question: Best Practice to migrate #1 to #2?
We do not see Falconstor on powerpath support even though Hitachi is
Does Powerpath write any signatures to disk?
The Old hosts connected via Powerpath to new EMC in graphic below is possibility being researched with this question to storage vmotion. Current is seperate Falconstor/Hitachi via NMP and EMC/Powerpath combo.
