We are a small church and have volunteer technical members who have been very helpful in assisting us setup a VMware environment consisting of 2 ESXi5 hypervisor hosts. We are about to make a purchase of Essentials Plus so that we can use vCenter and some of the HA and vMotion features to enhance what we already have. We also have a 3rd server that contains 2TB of storage. It was once a Windows 2003 file server. We would like to keep it around and use it as our shared storage device with the Essentials Plus environment. The question is: can we convert this server to either a NAS storage device or iSCSI storage device and share the storage space as our VMware Datastore? If so, how?
