I just need some clarification regarding WWNN and WWPN.
From reading, and doing some searches the WWPN is assigned to the physicial port of the HBA, and the WWNN addresses the entire HBA. That being said in a dual-port HBA should the WWNN not be the same for both ports. Looking at the vSphere Client I can see the picture attached however; if I would like to address the entire HBA and not the port why not have the WWNN the same. Sorry if I'm missing something.
