Bug in vSphere web client

Hi,

Not sure if this has been mentioned in the forums so far, but I wanted to share some thoughts about a possible bug in web client. I am preparing for my exam with CBTNuggets now, and theres a part where storage needs to be configured.

After properly setting up Win2k iSCSi service, and the the iSCSi adapter on the hosts, I start to bind the network ports to the Storage distributed port groups.

What I experienced if that I add storage 1 as first path and then I make refresh it will find it as a path to the port group. If I add separately storage 2, it does not matter how hard I hit "rescan adapters" it will not use it as second path.

The only solution I got is that I disabled multipathing, for the storage 1 path I already configured. BUT hitting the disable button has generated a serious internal error on vsphere web client:.

Sysinfo set operation VSI_NODE_storage_scsifw_paths_state failed with error status Busy.

And I had to restart, however after that it recognized the second path as well, when I added separately.

Might worth to look at it.

Kind regards
Breaker
