ESXi 5.1/5: Hardware (Broadcom) vs Software iSCSI adapter?

We got some new servers in, with Broadcom NetExtreme II adapters. We are using EQL SANs.

Starting with ESXi 5.1 jumbo frames are supported on hardware iSCSI adapters. So I am wondering whether or not to use the Broadcom adapters to take advantage of the offloading, etc or to continuing using the ESXi software ones?

Can you please share your experience/research with Broadcom hardware adapters in ESXi 5.1 and later? What is your recommendation?
