I have a home lab setup with a poweredge server and one SSD, with esxi and vsphere 5.5. I have vcenter installed on a VM and I'm working through Mastering vsphere 5.5, I created a datastore on the SSD using half the available space, I this through the windows client, I am now trying to create another datastore via the web client which is connected to the vcenter, and navigating to hosts and clusters and creating a datastore there, but when it asks me to select a device no devices show. When I connect to the host via the windows client, or connect to vcenter via the windows client I can see the SSD and the datastore under configuration > storage, so it seems to be just the web client that it doesn't show. I attach screenshots to make it easier to understand. If anyone could be of help that would be great as I've spent 2 days scratching my head- Thanks.
