Ok, then if LUN are really thin provisioning on the Hitachi, then the view is correct, since VMware does not reclaim the free space automatticaly and you will need do this manually, take a look at the following KB article: VMware KB: Using esxcli in vSphere 5.5 to reclaim VMFS deleted blocks on thin-provisioned LUNs
