My cloud server vendor charges us on how much "used storage" the vSphere client is showing (see screen shot). We charge clients on the actual data they consume based on the used space from their server's C: D: drives. Their C: & D: drives my decrease if the client decides to get rid of some large files. If they remove files from their C: & D: drives will it also decrease the "used storage" number stated in the vSphere client or does the cloud server vendor need to do something to reclaim the deleted file space?
