Hi just wondered if anyone has seen this happen before the setup is one brand new esxi host running version 4.1 with just 5 2008 servers running on it
one server is a sql box which has 7 drives 5 are on emc storage split over 2 datastores. And 2 on sata drives. Last night for some reason all the storage shifted to one of the emc which did not have enough space to hold all the data, all the disk went from thin provesioned to thick. we have no Ha setup on this host as far as i know.
Then when i moved a 300gb drive back to the sata drives everything showed as it should with the emc split over two data stores and the 2 bigger drives on the sata storeage
