Cold Migration Question

I need to cold migrate from vpshere 4.1 hosts to vsphere 5.0 hosts.  The 5.0 hosts are going to be hosting VMFS 5 datastores.  Will I be able to do this since the 4.1 hosts can't read VMFS 5?

you'll need to move to a VMFS3 LUN.  The host won't even see the VMFS5 LUN

Present the VMFS3 datastores to the new ESXi 5.X hosts and then perform a cold migration of both host and datastore.
